Step 2 Thread the tip through the rear sling loop, swivel or adapter loop.  Step 3 Replace the slider stop tri-glide.  Step 4 Insert the tip through the slider loop.  Step 5 Replace front tri-glide. Finish by threading the tip through the front sling loop, swivel or adapter slot. Double the tip back & secure it with the front tri-glide.  Finished!

Standard CST Sling  CST Sling w/ERB  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Step 1 Remove the front tri-glide, open the Transition Release Buckle (TRB) and pull the tip through.  Step 2 Thread the tip through the rear sling loop, swivel or adapter loop.  Step 3 Thread the tip through the slot in the slider buckle that is closest to the TRB.  Step 4 Open the TRB and thread the tip through the TRB under the TRB cam lever.  Step 5 Replace front tri-glide. Finish by threading the tip through the front sling loop, swivel or adapter slot. Double the tip back & secure it with the front tri-glide.  Finished!

You're welcome mga sirs! :-) To click on the images, go to www.spectergear.com/carryoptions.htm The length of the sling's thick 1.25 inch canvas or nylon belt web material depends on your body size but 5 meters was enough for my CBQ Sling and 6 meters to make my own modification of the CST Sling on my M82 SIG-552 in 2004.  Good luck, you'll never go back to ordinary slings once you tried a 3-point sling. ;D |
